Spring is the Perfect Time to Hunt for Toronto Homes

After the Easter egg hunt, it's time to go house hunting. Dave W, the CEO of the real estate web site, says "Spring is the time when homes in Toronto go up for sale. The school year is coming to an end and people want to relocate their families before the next school year begins. So, now is the perfect time to hunt for Toronto homes."

The Toronto real estate market couldn't be farther from cooling down, and there are plenty of Toronto listings to choose from. "This time of year, you've got the pick of any neighbourhood in the city. It's always best to strike while the iron is hot," Dave advises. "Right now is an especially good time to get a real estate transaction going since mortgage regulations will be changing very soon, and the new HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) takes effect in July. If you buy a home or townhouse in a gated community, all services and fees will be subject to the new HST," Dave reminds us. "Why not save a few bucks and start looking now?"

Dave's team of experienced agents promise to make your house hunt as painless as possible. "They are the experts when it comes to homes in Toronto," he says proudly. "My agents have over 30 years of collective experience, and they know their way around a Toronto house for sale." Whether you are a buyer, seller or renter, Dave promises, "We always do right by our clients regardless of which side of the closing table we're sitting on."

Hiring a real estate agent can be fraught with second guessing. But, Dave maintains, "The first instinct is always the correct one. Experienced agents will bring the Toronto listings to you. That way, you've got someone doing the dirty work, and all you have to do is show up at the right address. Buying or selling a home without an agent can be like driving a car without tires; it's virtually impossible."
